Terms of Service – Antwerp Port Tours (HeyHello BV)

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Antwerp Port Tours’ website, booking tool, and guided tour services. Antwerp Port Tours is the trade name of HeyHello BV, a Belgian company with registration nr. BE0555.677.960. By booking or participating in a tour, you agree to these Terms.


2. Definitions

“Provider” means HeyHello BV, trading as Antwerp Port Tours. “Customer” means the person or group booking a tour. “Tour” means any experience offered by the Provider.


3. Booking & Payment

3.1 All bookings must be made via our website or approved third-party platforms.

3.2 At the time of booking, an advance payment of 10% of the total cost is demanded. The full amount is due 14 calendar days prior to the date of the booked tour.

3.3 Prices are quoted in EUR and include VAT where applicable.


4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

4.1 First of all, let us asure you we try to provide maximum flexibility for changes and cancelations.

There are a few limitations however:

  • Any cancelations earlier than 14 days prior to the tour can be processed with a full refund.
  • Any cancelations later than 14 days and earlier than 1 day prior to the tour can be processed with a 50% refund.
  • Any cancelations later than 1 day prior to the tour can be processed with a 20% refund.

4.2 We preserve the right to cancel and fully refund a tour from our end in case of:

  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Sudden illness or emergency of our guide (we always try to find a replacement)
  • Technical issues (we always try to find an alternative)
  • Force majeure due to external factors such as strikes, local events or government-imposed restrictions

4.3 Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.


5. Customer Obligations

5.1 You must arrive at the agreed pick-up point at least 10 minutes before departure.

5.2 If you are late, we will wait for a minimum of 40 minutes. Depending on the availability of our guide your tour might get cancelled without any refunds if you are more than 40 minutes late.

5.3 Each participant must carry valid photo ID and comply with any port security checks.

5.4 For tours with your car or bus, you are responsible for providing a roadworthy vehicle, licensed driver, and any required child-safety seats. We preserve the right for our guides to refuse entry to your vehicle or stop and end a tour without refunds if they observe severe safety issues with your vehicle or driver. Examples of issues with a vehicle are, but not limited to: missing safety belts, defect microphone (obligated under European law), defect temperature control, missing seats, broken windows. Examples of issues with a driver are, but not limited to: no common language with the guide, use of alcohol, verbal or physical aggression.

5.5 We preserve the right for our guides to stop and end a tour without refunds if they observe insulting or threatening behavior from any of the Customer's guests towards themself or anyone else.

5.6 For Vespa tours, each driver must hold a valid driver's license and meet the physical requirements outlined in the tour description.

5.7 We preserve the right for our guides to stop and end a tour without refunds if the guide’s safety instructions are not respected.


6. Liability & Insurance

6.1 Our guides and vehicles are insured for third-party liability.

6.2 The Provider is not liable for personal injuries or property damage arising from your negligence or failure to follow instructions.

6.3 You are responsible for any damage caused by you or your vehicle/equipment up to the value of any applicable insurance excess.


7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and trademarks, is owned by HeyHello BV. You may not reproduce or distribute any material without our prior written consent.


8. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, compliant with the EU GDPR. For questions or data requests, contact info@antwerpporttours.com.


9. Amendments

We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version is always available on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.


10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Antwerp.
